Puck Fair - SoHo isn’t exactly the nightlife capitol of Manhattan. However, Puck Fair gives the area a good name with cozy booths, stiff drinks, and an all-around good time. The dark lighting and rich wood walls set a grown-up mood, and the “NO BACHELOR PARTIES” sign at the front door ensures that the maturity level remains high. The main floor is pretty small, although a little loft with additional seating (and the DJ booth) and a lower level bar, The Gate, provide additional space. Grab a spot at the lengthy bar and settle in with a Sierra Nevada, Guinness, or other quality tap beer. If you’d prefer the hard stuff, the bar offers 20 single-malt scotches and 10 bourbons. Want to bar hop? Jump on the free shuttle, and go to the bar’s equally fun sister establishments, Ulysses’ and Swift.
