Sutton Place - Looking for a decent happy hour bar chock full of chatty yuppies? Then Sutton Place is, well, your place. A three-story venue with four bars and a breezy rooftop terrace, Sutton Place doesn’t lack in space or service. What it is missing, though, is personality. On any given day, after work or at night, the place is jam-packed, but with nothing more than a popped-collar, post-college crowd standing around talking. The interior is warm and inviting, with rich wooden walls and cozy leather couches, but can also be yawn-inducing if you’re not in the mood to sit and talk, which, frankly you shouldn’t be if you’re out for the night in Manhattan. Bottom line, stop by after work if it’s a nice day and you’re in the neighborhood, but otherwise save your pennies for a more exciting time.
