In Midtown, New York LAVO Italian Restaurant, Nightclub and Lounge has been becoming more popular with native New Yorkers and tourists alike – well, is it even possible that LAVO will now probably become an even bigger hit?
Recently, CB5 gave LAVO the permission to expand so they could get their long, winding lines under control and keep their patrons off the streets of Manhattan.
Paul Goldstein, the owner of LAVO NYC, wants to “expand its ground-floor eatery, adding 550 square feet for a new bar, 30 to 40 new seats and a new waiting space where those hoping to gain entry can wait.”
This expansion can be a great money maker for LAVO; as their patrons wait to enter the restaurant/nightclub they can sit at the bar and have drinks for a half hour to 45 minutes – still giving LAVO wonderful business. However, one downfall is that patrons still aren’t guaranteed to get into the lavish restaurant/nightclub – they can still be denied entry.
Although, it’s nice to know that LAVO would rather their customers wait inside and keep them out of the rain, cold weather or blazing heat.
