Nightlife Tips: How To Avoid a Creeper

Nightlife Tips: How To Avoid a Creeper

What’s worse than going out to your favorite nightlife venue and running into a creeper? Nothing. Women and men both need to learn a few tactics in order to avoid creepers, or if it’s too late for that, how to get rid of them. Can’t decipher whether or not they’re a creeper? We’ll help.

If a total stranger comes up to you and starts dancing and grinding behind you without ever leaving, they’re a creeper. If someone tries to stick their tongue down your throat after learning only your name, they’re a creeper. If they’re staring at you from across the room and wont stop, they’re a creeper.

There are categorically more creeper moves, but you get the gist of it.
If you enjoy when people act this way than you might be a creeper as well and we can’t help. However, if you’re looking to avoid these types of people and have a pleasurable night out with your friends, you’re in luck.

How to avoid the dancing creeper: This is where your friends come in.

This is my most used move and I can swear by it. Here’s the scenario, a stranger comes up and starts dancing with you when all of the sudden you turn around and realize he’s a complete creeper. You give your friend the “save me” face and they come to the rescue. Your friend then pulls you away and instantly begins dancing with you. The guy should get the hint.

How to avoid the kissing creeper: Step to the side.

There’s no way to back away from a kiss graciously, and if you're in the moment I’m sure you’ll escape the kiss whichever way comes to mind first. You can usually tell if someone is in the state of mind that would influence him or her to think going in for the kill would be acceptable. If that’s the case, just excuse yourself from the conversation. If the kiss attempt comes out of left field, move away as fast as you can. Don’t stand there and let something happen that you’re not at all engrossed in.

How to avoid the staring creeper: Look away.

You can’t control a person’s eye. They’re going to stare if they want to, but you can control your eyes. A person will only continue to stare if you give them the stare back or if you are in their peripheral vision. If you stare back, you’re giving that person the okay to keep staring. If someone’s staring is making you uncomfortable, plainly stand somewhere else and without a doubt refrain from looking in his or her direction.

No one likes a creeper. If you’re reading this and it sounds like you, than I’m sorry but you’ve just been labeled as a creeper and have some serious changes to make. Otherwise, I hope this helps you become creeper free and enjoy your many nights to come.
