With New Year's Eve around the corner, nearly every nightlife venue in South Beach has already released information regarding their parties. These last two weeks before New Year's Eve are when tickets really start to sell for events, and prices could potentially fluctuate depending on this demand. If there's one thing you can count on, it's the price of tickets will be increasing dramatically. While there are plenty of tickets available to events in South Beach, some big name parties are beginning to run short. This year the Opium Group has really put a stronghold on New Year's Eve events in South Beach, but one of their smaller venues has gotten creative with the branding of its party.
This year, Mokaï
hosts a New Year's Eve 2011 event that's like none other, titled "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman!" While we're certain there won't be a woman in the venue over 6'2, unless she's on stilts, you have to give the venue some credit for being a bit creative (although, we're really not sure why they went with this theme).
Tickets are currently on sale for $100, and that gets you admission to the party which kicks off at 9 p.m., an open bar from 9 p.m. to midnight and music from DJ's Konflikt and Marybeth. Dress code is definitely enforced at this soiree, so be sure to dust off that suit.
