In Miami, the average lifespan of a weekly party is about three to four months, and so far Digital Fridays at Cameo
looks like it's going to be around for the long run. Locals have a short attention span, and if something isn't a hit consistently throughout the first month, then chances are it won't make it. Digital Fridays, backed by the all powerful Opium Group, has what it takes because they consistently bring big names into their DJ booth. Whether it's Bad Boy Bill, Max Vangelli or even Oscar G., they've given the people of Miami something to talk about and sounds to dance to.
This Friday night Cameo
brings in DJ Dove, a DJ/producer by way of New Jersey, that's heavy on his progressive dance tracks. So long as he's able to keep the energy in that room at a decent level, he won't see the dance floor empty out. Kicking off the night will be resident Christian Falero, and if Dove doesn't pick up where Falero left off, chances are we'll see him back on the decks at the end of the night.
