Sin City’s Democracy: Wet Republic Ultra Pool

Sin City’s Democracy: Wet Republic Ultra Pool

Let’s veer away from the typical proceedings of the nightlife scene and zone in on the exhilarating experience of Wet Republic’s day time pool party in the exuberant Las Vegas strip. Home to the young jet set and even to the wannabe jet set (and no, I’m not hating), Wet Republic lavishly expands 53,000 square feet across the backyard of the iconic MGM Grand. The scene is brought to life with modernly chic daybeds and chaise lounges—including green recliners that are set in the ankle-deep entrance of the main pool—spread throughout the lux paradise, Cabanas and private bungalows for those in search of a more exclusive atmosphere, eight jaw-dropping pools (waterfall and all), and a staff that boasts impeccable customer service. The bungalows are, without a doubt, a nice touch, offering much-desired privacy, a comfortable space and even a flat screen TV perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing escape from the music and dancers. It’s safe to say that Wet Republic’s praiseworthy paradise gives off an aura of superiority.

But that’s not all; Wet Republic is known for its awe-inspiring poolside parties, genially infusing world-renowned DJs and celerity/socialite status-type hosts’ into its festivities. This is why there is no question as to why Wet Republic stands as the best pool party nationwide—perhaps even worldwide.

Every successful pool party depends, in part, on outstanding musical outlets and Wet Republic incorporates this disposition by turning to the innovative sounds of DJs like Roger Sanchez, Boris, Sharam and Deadmau5, who have played or will soon be performing at the venue. So, trade in the overly crowded, smoke infested nightclubs for a day of dancing in the naturally soothing open-air grounds of Wet Republic. No need to bring your iPod and/or book for this one, as the music and vivacious crowd will surely entertain you while you sit back and soak up the sun.

Wandering around the premises, don’t be surprised to bump into celebrities and public figures, alike, roaming about the famous stomping grounds on any given day. Just this past weekend the curvaceous beauties we have come to recognize as the “Kardashians”—The sultry sisters: Kim, Kourtney and Khloe—were all there to host Kourtney’s highly anticipated birthday celebration, and a big one it was. Also adding to the star-studded profile is Kendra from the uber-popular “Girls Next Door” and the constantly-name-changing mogul, P Diddy. Carmen Electra will soon be pumping up the sex appeal in early May—excited!

So, how about a cocktail? With an array of beverages to choose from, the lively and stunningly good looking waiters (both male and female) of Wet Republic will suggest one of the venues uniquely produced drinks. Yes, they have bottle service too! Along with the impressive drink menu also comes a list of mouth-watering treats and appetizers. Our advice: get a group of your friends and order the exquisitely refreshing Chilled Seafood Sampler to not only complement the aquatic mood but to successfully quench your appetite.

The behavior influencing waters are open to satisfy your every need Monday through Sunday—a never-ending cycle of wet fun. Be on the lookout for some of the venues hottest upcoming events of which include Bryan Greenberg & Victor Rasuk, as well as the 4-day-long event series for Memorial Day Weekend that features 10 of the industry’s best DJs. Mark your calendars and call to inquire about the events ahead of time.

Wet Republic, strictly for adults only, is definitely not your regular backyard pool party; instead, an out-of-this-world experience like no other of its kind. Before you head out: throw on some clothes (or take some off), apply your preference of sun block or tanning lotion and top it all off with some cool-guy/girl persona. The temptations await.
