It’s true; the Grammy Awards most often have radio pop stars presenting, promoting and winning all of the awards in order to entice younger viewers to sit through the two-and-a-half hour show. But this year there were more crossover hits and mixing of genres, therefore making the nominees, and sometimes winners, much more interesting.
There was one winner in particular Clubpanet can really be excited for, and that Grammy holder is David Guetta. David Guetta, French DJ extraordinaire, won last night in the category of Best Remix Recording for "When Love Takes Over," his collaboration with Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland. But this award was all about Guetta, who created the eight-minute-twenty-second song Electro Extended Remix that effectively, won the Grammy.
Unfortunately though, the nature of the Grammys reared it’s ugly head and current princess of dance pop, Lady Gaga, won in the other two categories Guetta was nominated for, Best Dance Recording and Best Electronic/Dance Album.
