Top Celebrity Owned Nightlife Venues in Los Angeles

Whether you are visiting the Los Angeles area or you are a local, it is always fun to spot a celebrity. So what better way to do so than eating at a restaurant co-owned by one? Not only are these restaurants good for star-spotting, they have really tasty food and drinks as well.

The Porch
8430 W. Sunset Blvd.
West Hollywood, CA 90069

The Porch, located inside the House of Blues on the Sunset strip in Hollywood is co-owned by funny-men Dan Akroyd and Jim Belushi. Their extensive drink menu could overwhelm some but just know no matter what drink you order it will be strong but tasty. The best time to visit The Porch is on Sundays. They offer a Sunday Gospel Brunch full of a mix between a down-home Southern cooking and a New Orleans Cajun feel.

Dolce
8284 Melrose Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90046

The trendy Italian restaurant, Dolce, has investors such as ‘That 70’s Show’ cast members Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, and Wilmer Valderama. Dolce has the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner-date or a nice pre-club meal and drinks. If you’re going for a small pre-club meal, the appetizers are huge and definitely sharable. Although Dolce opened in April of 2003, it has not slowed down so be sure to make a reservation but if you forget, Dolce has a significant wine list, so grab a glass and enjoy while you wait for a table to be ready!

Beso
6350 Hollywood Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90028

Celebrity Eva Longoria and celebrity chef Todd English co-own Beso. This Mexican style eatery in the heart of Hollywood is known for its classic steakhouse cuisine. Beso is all about the scene. It is known for its celebrity clientele. If you want to see stars, come eat at Beso. The adult juice bar isn’t a bad selling point either. The adult-juice bar is set up with mixologists ready to create signature cocktails of your choosing.

Tagine
132 N. Robertson Blvd.
Beverly Hills, CA 90211

With its upscale, romantic environment, Tagine is the place to go for a date-night with that special someone. The 7 course tasting menu is the way to go on, but it’s only offered on Saturdays. If you’re looking for a restaurant with cordial staff, Tagine is for you. The chef, Ben, will personally stop by your table to make sure you are enjoying your meal and see if there is anything else he can get for you.

Geisha House
6633 Hollywood Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90028

Geisha House is a modern Japanese restaurant, sushi bar, and sake lounge all in one. The décor, atmosphere, and hot geisha girls make it a fabulous dinner night out. If you are a sushi lover, try the frightened geisha sushi. Or more of a dessert person? The Tempura fried brownie is a must try! Not only is the atmosphere to die for, the location isn’t bad either. It’s located right on Hollywood Boulevard. Stop by for dinner and drinks before hitting the club-scene on Hollywood Blvd.
