There’s no such thing as spending a tame Halloween in Las Vegas. While the city’s packed with outrageous sights on a daily basis, its Halloween nightlife events, parties and masquerade balls make the average Vegas event look calm. While it’s not unusual for people to be dressed up here on a daily basis, the only thing that can be said for costumes for Las Vegas Halloween parties is to expect the unexpected.
One of the largest and most unpredictable Las Vegas Halloween nightlife events is held at Hawaiian Tropic. Last year, the venue stunned everyone with the “Win a Booooob Job” Competition, in which 50 women collected as much candy as possible inside the club in hopes to win the grand prize … breast augmentation. The Top five collectors’ fate was then given to the crowd as it chose the winner. Hawaiian Tropic is sure to bring another one-of-a-kind stunner this year.
Another Halloween nightlife event that’s garnered the attention of partygoers and media alike is the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball. Hosted at the Sport Center of Las Vegas last year, in 2009 it heads back to its original home, The Hard Rock Hotel, and promises to up the intensity even further. Fire performers, world-class DJs and stilt-walkers just begin the fun, with even more surprises to be behind every corner.
MGM Grand’s Studio 54 Club hosts another huge Halloween party with “Nightmare on 54th Street.” Other renowned Halloween nightclub events take place at Harrah’s Las Vegas, Caesar’s Palace, Treasure Island and Bellagio. Each of the venues’ bartenders and waitstaff are dressed up to look like people your parents’ would have told you not to accept a drink from, but the wear pales in comparison to the outrageous costumes featured in the contests held at each venue.
And as if the Las Vegas Halloween nightclub events and Halloween parties weren’t enough, Monster Mayhem brings in a new level of scares with its seven complete haunted houses. Each house has a different appearance and theme. You get into all of them with one ticket and the complete experience takes almost two hours. For another frightening option, The Adventure Dome at Circus Circus turns into the Fright Dome each October, with five haunted houses, rides and freak shows. Some say Las Vegas is a freak show to begin with, but with these events only being the beginning to Sin City’s Halloween nightlife events and parties, you’ll see Las Vegas’ inner freak like never before.
