There’s always one questions that plagues the mind of the average man or woman when it comes to a date, “Where the hell can I take them?” Luckily for everyone in Miami, there are definitely dozens of places you could take your significant other, but if you’re really looking for the cream of the crop, Clubplanet’s done all the work for you and creative a list of Miami’s top date spots. From a French hideaway on Miracle Mile, to the Atlantic Ocean, we’re pretty sure you’ll be pleased with what we’ve listed.

Les Halles
2415 Ponce De Leon Blvd.
Miami, FL 33134

Guys, and ladies too, keep this one to yourself. Yes I know that we’re writing about it so the secret is basically out, but this little hideaway restaurant could quite possibly be your best bet at impressing your significant other. The combination of the perfect lighting that surrounds the quaint French restaurant, accompanied by the furniture that resembles chic Parisian vintage style, makes for a pleasing visit, but when it comes to the menu, theirs is a whole other side to the restaurant. If you haven’t brushed up on your French recently, no worries. The service won’t make you feel out of place, and each dish has a description in English. Executive Chef Frederic Claisse put together an insanely delicious variety of plates that will please the pickiest of eaters. Remember, when you look for a great date spot in Miami, you have to take into consideration someone else’s taste.

Rusty Pelican
3201 Rickenbacker Causeway
Key Biscayne, FL 33131

The first thing we heard about this place was that it apparently had the best and most romantic view you could get in the city. Now, Miami is known to have some amazing views all around, but when we dined here, this place takes the cake. If you get the right table, and make sure you do, the downtown skyline is just outside the window. You can watch the sun go down as you indulge in some fresh live Maine lobster, but be prepared to shell out some cash on this one. This is probably one of the best places in the city to ‘pop the question,’ but that’s only if you’re ready for that. One thing we do recommend is, make sure to get a reservation, if not you’ll be waiting for a while, and that’s if you’re lucky to be seated.

Club 50
485 Brickell Avenue
Miami, FL 33131

As you may have noticed by now, when you’re looking for a great date spot in Miami, it’s all about the view around you. Seriously, think about it! Every place that you’ve heard of as being a very romantic spot, nine times out of ten the view is the catch. That’s exactly why Club 50 is on our list of top date spots in Miami. Located on the 50th floor of the best hotel that the city has to offer, Viceroy, Club 50 is known as the city’s most exclusive lookout point, and what’s more romantic than that? Now we know what you’re thinking, “How can a club be romantic?” Well first of all this place is more of a lounge than a club, and its capacity isn’t all that grandiose, not to mention there’s an outside area where you can really take in the view with your significant other. They’ll definitely appreciate this atmosphere, trust us.

South Beach
One Ocean Drive
Miami Beach, FL 33139

Whether it be sunrise or sunset, there’s no place that's more romantic to catch the shift of light than the beach, and luckily for us in Miami, we have one of the most popular beaches in the world. South Beach is without a doubt the most romantic place in the city, but that depends on the time of day that you go. Remember, go on the weekend from 10AM and 5PM, and you’ll definitely have too much company on your date. But from 6PM to 9PM you’ll get the intimacy you need and one of the best views that will definitely strike a note in your date.

Baleen
4 Grove Isle Drive
Miami, FL 33133

The first time that we caught a glimpse of Baleen, we automatically knew that there was something special about it. If you happen to pass by the bay and see Baleen from the outside, it almost seems as though it’s a home, rather than one of the best restaurants in the city. If you really want to impress your date, then come here, but be prepared to pay for it. However, this isn’t one of those places where the atmosphere is what you really pay for, here, the menu packs a punch and will definitely please the palate. The service is always on point, and if you feel like saving a few bucks here and there, we recommend opting for the lunch, the prices are like night and day.

M Bar at the Mandarin Oriental
500 Brickell Key Drive
Miami, FL 33131

Here’s the perfect combination of a view, great service, and an even better drink list to match. M Bar is a great place for a date that really likes her or his martinis. The selection is at 250, so it make take you a while to decide, and with the combination of that and one of the best views in the city, this place can be pretty distracting. The floor to ceiling windows are the real eye-catchers in this place, so when you walk in with your date, expect to hear something along the lines of “wow.” The chef’s selection of sushi and seafood platters will provide a different take on the night. But if you really want to impress, get a room for the night, and make your way up to M Bar for drinks. We guarantee that you’ll seal the deal.
