If your last vacation turned out to be a total fiasco because your last-minute adventure corkscrewed its way to sitting in your hotel room waiting for your return date, -you know who you are- we have found a way to make sure it will never happen again.

We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 best party cities in the world! Pick one, any one of these cities as your destination, and we promise you won’t regret it. Let’s count them down…

Best Party City #10: Mexico City

You may not have to search hard for a good party. All you have to do, as a matter of fact, is look just south of the border, to Mexico City. It may be useful to remember that the high altitude can make ones drink in Mexico City have the effect of two at a lower altitude. Add it to cheap airfare, an array of clubs, bars and college spring-breakers who want a real feel for the city, and you’ve got yourself a one of the best party cities in the world.

Best Party City #9: Paris

Le Tour Eiffel looks over a metropolis known for its sophisticated art, snobby locals and uninhibited party. Home of the Moulin Rouge, Paris holds up its reputation as one of the sexiest cities in the planet, as well as one of the best cities to party in. So go to club Rex or Les Bains Douches and wear your best Yves Saint Laurent, but make sure it’s from the 2009 collection.

Best Party City #8: London

If you want to sip a cup of tea, look at English Gardens, and visit the Queen, London is the place to go. If you want to raise hell at the Ministry of Sound or Pacha super-clubs, London is also the place to go. Warm up to the stiff locals, and find their wild side. Start by telling them that you love the Beatles.

Best Party City #7: Berlin

No room for goody-goody fun. Transgression is the name of the game in the once-halved German party center. Get lost in the sexually open-minded super-club Berghain, the major determining factor for making this one of the best party cities where anything goes.  If you get too lost and a little home-sick, you can head over to White Trash Fast Food, for a little taste of home. This club offers American cuisine at easy-on the-pocket prices (€ 5.50 for a hamburger). Don’t forget “das” beer goggles.

Best Party City #6: New York

Forget the clichés about a certain city that doesn’t sleep; The Big Apple makes the list for its undisputable status as one of the world’s best party cities. Try your luck hailing a cab or take the subway to a Broadway show or watch the chandeliers rise at the Metropolitan Opera, but don’t stay too long, the party waits. Sip stylishly and be a total highbrow in the Meatpacking District’s APT, sing some show tunes at Duplex cabaret in the West Greenwich Village, or have a hand a beer-pong and quietly cheer your favorite sports team as they battle the Jets-or the Giants- or the Knicks. As NYC’s own Frank Sinatra said in a very famous song, (yes, the same one featuring “the city that never sleeps” comment) “ It’s up to you, New York, New York!”

Best Party City #5: Las Vegas

Get lucky in any way possible. Gamble your savings, drive up and down the Strip, and check out some of the world’s hottest clubs and strip joints. After you’re done, gamble some more. You’ll make your money back. Check out the big guns: Bellagio, MGM grand, the Palms, the Venetian, Cesar’s Palace, and the list goes on and on. Nightlife in Vegas is astonishing. Clubs like Pure, Rain and Ghostbar rule the Sin City. And don’t forget to sin; we forgive you.

Best Party City #4: Amsterdam

All the rumors about underground space cake huts and window-shopping for escorts are true. So go out there and try to come back in one piece. But in between checking out cannabis cafes and live sex shows, please remember to visit Escape and enjoy some of the region most well known DJ’s and some of Amsterdam’s best-looking people, which is why its made our list as one of the best party cities in the world.

Best Party City #3: Rio de Janeiro

Carnival all year long. In one of the world’s most populated cities, you are bound to find a good party. Gaze at Ipanema Beach’s mountain backdrop and gorgeous tanga-wearing gatinhas, and watch locals’ amusing Samba dancing. The city brings its party to the streets at night, where the Cariocas (Rio de Janeiro locals) flock to city hotspots such as Nuth Lounge and Baronetti Bar, where barely clothed hotties are always up for a good time. With escorts on standby and party lovers on the loose, Rio makes our list as the third best party city in the world.

Best Party City #2: Ibiza

Europe’s party capital. There, summer starts in May and ends in October. Ibiza can brag about having the best summer time DJ line-up. Make sure one of your sleepless nights involves Ibiza’s own club Space, which holds its reputation as one of the worlds best. Thousands of tourists continue to make Ibiza their summer destination because of its Mediterranean magic, crowded beaches and non-stop vivacious club scene. A good party guaranteed.

Best Party City #1: Miami

Rest of the world, eat your heart out. When it comes to partying, Miami is second to none. Bring all of your celebrity-hunting gear and start tanning weeks ahead of time. Miami is the designed tropical cradle for superstar athletes, celebrated actors and musicians, and rich business moguls who choose to let loose in the city where beautiful party people reign.  Dress to impress, even if you’re only going to the grocery store. You can vibe your mornings away at Nikki Beach. Sit on a beach bed and enjoy the sun, but make sure you take the time of the day to people watch. Nighttime in Miami is no joke either. Whether you’re at the hip and cozy Mokai or Mansion super-club, you are sure to see at least half of the city’s best looking models scandalously dancing at the always-packed VIP tables. After all, Miami is the best party city in the world.
