SUNDAY FUNDAY: Guy Scheiman ft Katherine Ellis - I Say A Little Prayer - [GUY SCHEIMAN MUSIC]
A dance cover of a classic r&b song may sound done right about now, but when there is a quality vocal combined with solid production, your really need to keep an open mind. “I Say A Little Prayer,” originally sung by Dionne Warwick, has been covered and remixed multiple times over the years by artists like Aretha Franklin, Al Green (who seems to be top of mind today), Bomb The Bass, and Diana King. For 2016, Israeli producer/DJ Scheiman brings a big room tribal vibe with elements of progressive and electro in the mix. Powerful vocalist Katherine Ellis brings new life to the vocals, managing to increase the energy and intensity while keeping the soulful vibe as the true focus. The remixes featured different flavors of circuit house with the standouts being House of Labs Murk-ish mix and the pumping/energetic mix by Fantasy. Be sure to also check out Guy's new update of "He's So Vain" with Michal S and send it out to your friend who deserves it the most on this Sunday Funday.
