DUBS Acoustic Filters Review: #PierofFear

During Halloween weekend, Clubplanet was asked to test out the newly released DUBS Acoustic Filters at RPM's Pier of Fear with Nicky Romero & friends. Throughout the night, the likes of Elephante, Arno Cost, John Dahlback, Dirty South, Nicky Romero, Don Diablo, and Ansolo unleashed some serious eye and ear candy on the Halloween festive crowd. With the wide array of EDM genres played and after countless times of placing & removing the earplugs in our ears, here’s what we noticed.

DUBS
has a unique minimalist design. Created and developed by acoustic engineers & designers, these advanced tech earplugs were created with the user-experience in mind. Unlike the traditional earplugs, the DUBS features a 12 decibel Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) to protect ears using at 17-piece physical filtration system to reduce sound at different levels whilst still producing a natural sound. The earplugs protected our ears without sacrificing sound and as their name implies, the acoustic filters sharpened & clarified the sound and made it feel like we were transported to a studio; we noticed a huge difference right away.

The sounds projected from the speakers echoed and were slightly distorted, but once we placed the DUBS into our ears, the earplugs picked up specific frequencies while filtering out background noise. Additionally, they were our saviors during the moments we stood right in front of the stage, providing protection without muffling sounds like traditional earplugs. Their silicone ear tips provided comfort to the point of forgetting that they were even there and managed to stay in place despite intense dance movements as well. Think of the time when your eyes were first blessed with high-definition television. Now imagine that blessing coming to your ears. That is exactly how it feels when you listen to music at concerts using DUBS

DUBS Acoustic Filters provided complete aural pleasure, protecting our ears from harmful noise without compromising the sound and went even further by enhancing it. The earplugs can also be used for anyone We give these earplugs two thumbs up and highly recommend them without hesitation.

You can purchase [Dubs] for $25 and is available in 4 colors.
