The month of November is set to be a huge one for us here at #CPR and we are starting it off with a bang! Episode 43 is packed with new tunes and a special guest mix from Skitzofrenix! Make sure you follow ClubPlanet Radio on Soundcloud so you can hear every episode every Friday morning bright and early to kick off your weekend properly. Before we get to Skitzofrenix’s 30 minute guest mix, here are some highlights of today’s show…
New_ID - Aerogames [AXTONE]
New_ID continues their tear since rebranding (from NO_ID) with a new heater on Axwell’s Axtone imprint that will make Giorio Moroder smile. “Aerogames” takes the arpeggiated bassline to a new level by surrounding it with a constant build. This causes the energy in the track to continue to mount before finally crashing only to build again.
The Cube Guys – Hey You! [X]
Steve Angello’s “X” label has been the home for many groovy and funky tunes in 2014 and The Cube Guys continue that trend with their latest release, “Hey You”. A classic vocalist with a bass line to groove with it has always been a staple of a classic house track and the Cube Guys (as they typically do) nail that formula on this one to get any dance floor moving.
Kaskade & John Dahlback ft Sansa – A Little More [LITTLE EMPIRE]
Two of my favorite producers come together on this one to give us “A Little More”. The vocal is hauntingly melodic (a common element to most of Kaskade’s tracks) provided by Finnish singer Sansa, and it is met by a driving low end perfectly paired with a top end of synth perfection. This massive release will be available soon but for now enjoy it on ClubPlanet Radio.
CPR TUNE OF THE WEEK
Kryder - Fiji [SPINNIN]
The super producer from the UK, Mr. Kryder, is having what is surely the best year of his music career and he has a few massive releases before 2014 is finished. After seeing a small preview during Steve Angello’s Miami “Decade” show, Kryder’s drum driven “Fiji” finally gets its proper release. As a founding member of the #GrooveCartel, of course this track features a huge bass line groove. What separates this particular offering is the percussion, seemingly coming from a marching band. The breakdown features a chanting and moaning that gives the tune an eerie feeling before feeding back into the pounding percussion. Top tune from Kryder with a few more to follow this year.
ENCORE TRACK
Laurent Iacomucci – Through The Air [FREE]
Today’s Encore Track comes all the way from Luxembourg and rising producer Laurent Iacomucci. His latest offering, “Through The Air” is a progressive, melody driven tune that is executed beautifully. At the young age of 20, Laurent’s productions have caught my ear earlier this year and this one may be my favorite so far. Stay tuned for more from this guy.
Skitzofrenix Guest Mix
To kick off November’s huge guest lineup, I’m happy to have Skitzofrenix join #CPR with today’s guest mix. His collaboration with Jeff Doubleu “Rushin” was supported worldwide by everyone from Avicii to Tiesto among others. In the time since he has had releases on every major label from Dim Mak and Spinnin to most recently having a production on Hardwell’s ADE sampler on Revealed Recordings. With a bright future ahead for this producer who now makes his home in Amsterdam, turn his guest mix up loud and check out his socials and support him!
Thanks to everyone for listening. If you enjoy what you hear, follow us on Soundcloud so you can be the first every Friday to hear the latest CPR episode.
