Just When You Thought The EDM Bangwagon Couldn't Get Any Worse, This Happens

In a time where everyone who wants to make a quick buck, jumps on the bandwagon of what they think is a money spinner, it's no wonder the electronic dance music scene is now a target of these "cash quick" schemes. If it's not Miley Cyrus boasting about her Molly intake so she can, mistakenly, make herself more appealing to a more grown up audience, it's a company who coming up with the"genius" idea of selling a Halloween "Molly Monster" costume for kids and adults alike, complete with furry boots and candy bracelets.

Well, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, I give to you www.EDM-DATE.com, a dating website for ravers. You know, because dance music events are SO difficult to meet people at. They tell us on the site’s Facebook bio that they are “the all new dating site geared specifically towards the electronic dance music community,” and ask you to join so you can “come meet the raver of your dreams.” I don't think I can roll my eyes back any further.

Yes, that's right. Someone has decided that if they paint something as EDM related, they'll have themselves a money making machine. On the surface, it's a poorly designed site with a could of images -- including a model dressed as a raver -- that will make you think it's geared towards the clubbing community. However, underneath the surface it's just another low quality dating site most likely filled with the people you'd go out your way to avoid in a club or dance music event.

Check it out before you add it to you BLOCK list.
