Inside Social House Las Vegas
BY: Naomi Baria
These days, you can’t open a gossip rag without a boldfaced Social House sighting staring back at you. In less than a year, TI’s latest restaurant and lounge snowballed into a formidable celebrity stomping ground—one whose list of clientele reads off like an IMDb listing, with icons such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Longoria and Enrique Iglesias stepping through its doors week after week.
Rok Box Made Me Do It
BY: Jack Colton
We were able to catch up with the man behind Tabú’s weekly party Rok Box to find out what, exactly, he feels is so unique about this Monday night event that often ncourages people to get a little more unruly on a weeknight than they might have originally planned.

Jack Colton: How many years have you been doing Rok Box?

Randy Davila:
We first did it about three years ago as a once-a month event, and then we actually only ended up with a total of nine parties. The unbelievable part about it was that people were still talking about Rok Box. It’s the only party in town that you hear people actually referring to the name instead of just saying, “Oh, I’m going to Tabú tonight.”
SoBe 101: How to Get Past the Velvet Rope
BY: Michelle F. Solomon
SoBe's club scene is the place to see and be seen, but it's a dog-eat-dog world out there. If you're fixin' to go partying on a Friday night in South Beach, you better get your groove on because it takes more than just a pretty face to get you past the velvet ropes. One of Queen Latifah's favorite haunts is Mokaï, Jamie Foxx partied the night away at Mansion while in town filming "Miami Vice," and funnyman Will Ferrell has been known to wind down at Privé. But if you have the entourage but not the celebrity pull, how do you get to enjoy the same privileges of the jet set?
Fashion Fix: Little Blue Dress
BY: Michelle Lapidos
It’s still as true as ever: You can never go wrong with an LBD. Except now the B stands for blue – a deep, polished, royal shade of sapphire-navy to be precise.

The dog days are here. How you guys do it at the outdoor clubs and lounges is beyond me. I even passed off my on my usual monthly art walk in the Wynwood area this Saturday and an invitation for a beer at Zeke’s on Lincoln during the week. It’s just too hot. But Thursday I sucked it up. After a long day of work, I had enough time to shower, get dressed, and head out to the birthday bash for Nick D’Annunzio at the Hotel Victor pool area – an outdoor gala.
Perez Hilton Dishes the Gossip... on Perez Hilton
BY: Diana Kost
I'm on the phone with Perez Hilton. “Can I call you back in twelve minutes?” he asks. Before I can answer he says, “No, six minutes.” Pause. “Ten minutes. I’m finishing up a call,” he apologizes. And herein lies the entity that is Perez Hilton. He’s flamboyant yet reliable, offensive yet honest. He is a paradox, shunning those who obtain fame for absolutely no reason yet becoming an idol himself, simply by talking about others.
Speak Low n' Easy
BY: Corrie Shenigo
Nobody panic. Prohibition isn’t upon us again. But tell that to the group of downtown nightlife developers who have taken it upon themselves to install their high-end juice-joints in some of the long defunct architectural gems of Los Angeles. Re-imagining the speakeasies of bygone days, Angelino’s can gussy up, belly up, and pony up—it ain’t always cheap, folks—without having to keep it on the down low for fear of those pesky fed raids.
Dinner and a Topless Show
BY: Naomi B
Gourmet cuisine hardly comes to mind when you think of a gentlemen’s club, but newcomer Men’s Club Las Vegas is proving that strip plus steak can (and does) work. The club’s Alchemy Kitchen and Raw Bar have received glowing reviews due, in large part, to legendary sommelier Stephen Geddes at its head-chef helm. With a double-breasted bib and a fistful of dollars (for tips!), we spoke with Operations Manager Ian Kohoutek to see how fresh tuna with a side of tah-tahs succeeds in Sin City. Like many Vegas institutions, dining at the Men’s Club packs a one-twopunch of novelty and bragging rights.
NOtouristZONE: 5 Things You Can Do If You're a Las Vegas Local
BY: Mike Snedagar
To be a Las Vegas local is a gift, one that we all take for granted at times, because we get so used to the preferential treatment. But then I remember it almost every weekend when I have friends come in from out of town, and they can’t believe how we just bypassed the line or got something for free. To live in Las Vegas is to be surrounded by a world of hospitality, and Vegas truly is the city where “it’s all about who you know.” Living in Vegas in my twenties, I realize things are happening here that won’t happen again. We are living in a very special time, right here, right now. A time that none of us will forget. Here are a few things you can do when you have the VIP keys to the City of Sin.

This week I started off with the sexy women of “H Para Hombres” Party at The Ritz Carlton on South Beach for the celebration of the US debut of the publication. The monthly publication features flawless, sexy photos of actresses, models and singers from the Latin entertainment community, as well as articles for men such as health, sports and advice.
Sex Toys & Strippers: The BadFun Party
BY: Chrissi Mark
Three words: Best gift bag ever. I was giddy at the prospect of an event promising “an erotic demonstration” of the products by a Penthouse Pet of the Year. Although my more prudish side feared a front row seat. As we stepped into the club I had to ward off a business man or two whose overzealous hands reached into my friend’s personal space (both of them). “She’s not for hire,” I scolded as we headed to the bar...
Vegas Fashion Guide

One of the benefits of being a lady in Las Vegas is that (usually) you don’t have to pay for much. Most clubs offer reduced or free admission, and there’s always a gentleman willing to pay for a drink. That means only one thing: extra cash. And what better way to spend your hard-earned money than by buying the latest fashions? So read on for the summer’s hottest new trends and how you can have them, regardless of the size of your (or your boyfriend’s) bank account.
"Ugly-ism" Coming to A Courthouse Near You
BY: Jeff Wilser
Someday it’ll happen. It’ll explode as a political issue. It’ll be the center of a Supreme Court debate. A new issue that could rock the world of nightlife: “Ugly-ism.” All across the United States, every night around one in the morning, the doormen at the trendiest, most exclusive clubs get to decide who is hot and who is not. They carve the world into two groups. They treat the two groups differently. Three hot girls? Great. They’re in with no cover. Two fat cows? They’re stuck at the end of the line.

Fashion Fix: The VERVEnyc Party
BY: Michelle Lapidos
When your emcee for the evening is a flamboyant man prancing around in a custom-made cheetah print costume and 5-inch stilettos, you have to assume it’ll be an interesting night. I ordered my rum and diet extra strong.
Johnny Utah's Grand Opening
BY: Diana Kost
When Jeff asked me to go to the opening of Johnny Utah’s, I said okay without knowing too many details. All I knew was that it was a themed restaurant. In Rockefeller Center. An urban cowboy themed restaurant in Rockefeller Center. Not only is this only 2 blocks away from my job, but it’s a themed restaurant in Rockefeller Center. How good could it possibly be?

During the low season, the island becomes a ghost town. Besides the locals, the others are monthlies or seasonal folks trying out the city, see if it fits. Some come down for the summer, living away from Boca or as far as West Palm to party it up. But during the day, the beach is not the only place to get your therapy.
