Champions is a great place to go before a hockey game, great sports bar scene and sometimes some hall of famers show up. Great place to be if you are an Islander fan!

This was one of the worst nights out I ever had in NYC. The place is a glorified B&T bar complete with the $20 mixed drinks, filled to the brim with NYC's finest poseur crowd. The worst was the fat / bald doorman, what a disgusting piece of white trash! We had a table for a birthday party for one of my friends that cost around over $400. Of course this was guys night out, and this douchebag wouldn't let one of my friends in. I simply asked him why and he tried to start a fight with me telling me that I was being "disrespectfull" which I wasn't. The thing is, this place wasn't even worth that nonsense. I'm sorry when I spend money like that I want to be treated at least like a human being not like a college kid with a fake ID. New York has so many really good places THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT ONE OF THEM! Plus the music SUCKED!
