Saturdays at Room 143, a new Murray Hill Lounge, is going to be all about bottle boozing (with the lowest bottle prices in NYC) under flame-colored lighting and curvy banquettes embellished by even curvier girls. Such are the makings of this velvet-roped scope-fest, filled with VIP tables and a pound-out-your-brains DJ Martial spinning hip-hop, 80s, rock and house in an open-air booth. The space is relatively small compared to other clubs, making Room 143 a bit more relaxed and intimate. Just because it's not a money pit ($5-$10 cover) doesn't mean you can take it for granted, so please dress the part. Although Room 143 is more relaxed then most nightspots we ask that single guys beware -- the door policy will be consistent with most others in NYC (as in no ladies, you'll be waiting a bit).
