This week, the Essence of Rio party at Float welcomes the most high-profile performance artist in its short history!
The international sensation known simply as Laleh (pictured to the left) will perform both her hit songs at 1 am, both of which are prominent on the club scene and radio dial: "Captured" (produced by industry giant Hex Hector) and "Rise" (mixed by Jonathan Peters). Her recent performances include the Roxy, Webster Hall & the U.N. Conference for World Peace in Tampa, FL.
Behind the decks on the main floor, we have superstar DJ Sheldon Romero (resident of the new Sound Factory afterhours party) spinning intense, sexy house music from 1:30am till everyone goes home!
Opening for Sheldon is DJ Deja of Robbins Entertainment, who mixed a new CD entitled Deja Mix Volume 4 which we'll give away complimentary copies of. David provides live percussion, with the gorgeous Rio Dancers on stage and in the cages above.
On the 2nd floor, the notorious duo of Davey B & Dre play hip-hop & classics all night, while on the 3rd floor we have all-access karaoke.
This will be an *event* so try to get there early, and remember that we have full OPEN BAR from 10pm-11pm. All partiers on the Clubplanet guestlist enjoy an admission of $15 before 1am, $20 from 1am-3am. Regular admission is $25. Doors will open promptly at 10pm.
