The Essence of Rio Friday party at Float has been the hottest place in Manhattan since its inception...especially important the last 2 weeks with sub-10 degree temperatures! A big reason for this is the tremendous, great-looking crowd we get, packing all 3 floors at this Midtown nightspot week in and week out.
This Friday, guest DJ The Great White Hope of the former Ibiza party at Saci opens for superstar Sheldon Romero (resident of the White Room - Earth Saturdays at Exit) on the main floor. They'll be spinning sexy house all night, accompanied by the live drumbeats of David and the beautiful Rio Dancers on stage and in the cages above! On the 2nd Floor is the hip-hop tag team of Dre & Davey B. On the 3rd Floor is DJ Ski Hi, who plays old school classics and who is also hosting a CD release party for his latest compilation Klass Volume 3. This floor will stay open till 6am!
There will be a live 1am main floor performance by Super Diva Autumn Rue to perform the 80s classic "Nasty Girl," as well as her new song "I Can't Believe." Finally, there will be a full open bar from 10pm-11pm, so get there early and beat the line!
All partiers on the Clubplanet guestlist enjoy an admission of $15 before 1am, $20 from 1am-3am. Regular admission is $25. Doors will open promptly at 10pm.
