For those who missed the fab grand opening of the Essence of Rio party last Friday, the pictures give you a glimpse of what you missed. In short: over 900 people filled the 3 floors of Float and Jonah rocked the house with his performance of the omnipresent hit song "Shhhhhh Be Quiet." This party is unique from others in Manhattan in that it offers 3 different types of music on each level from top-notch DJs (house main floor, hip-hop 2nd, classics 3rd), but is still a "scene" party where you'll find the best looking crowd anywhere!
This week, the sensational Renee Stakey of Robbins Entertainment celebrates her birthday with a special live performance, sure to be included with her hit song "Rainy Day" as heard on KTU. There's a rumor that superstar Reina ("Find Another Woman" and "No One's Gonna Change You") will be in the house to sing "Happy Birthday" to her labelmate.

Behind the decks: Sheldon Romero (Exit White Room Saturdays resident) & The Great White Hope on the main floor; DJ Hones on floor 2; and all the way upstairs you'll find DJ Ski-Hi bringing you back to the day.
Of course, everybody loves an open bar and we have a full OPEN BAR from 10pm-11pm. Also, the beautiful Rio dancers will be onstage & in the cages with live percussion by David. Doors open at 10pm sharp!
All partiers on the Clubplanet guestlist enjoy an admission of $15 before 1am, $20 from 1am-3am. Regular admission is $25. Doors will open promptly at 10pm.
