The Scumfrog Biography
The Scumfrog, an Amsterdam native and New York City transplant, has
evolved his sound by combining the best from both sides of the Atlantic
with a sophisticated blend of New York dark and funky beats and sexy
European sounds. His recent successes include two No. 1 Club Hits; last
years Ibiza anthem "We Love You" (Rolling Stones 60's cover) and his remix
of George Michael's single "Freeek."
Scumfrog has taken on David Bowie's, "Loving the Alien."
With the collaboration of Bowie, Scumfrog has turned this 1985 hit
into a timeless House track with stunning results. The original
version appears on Bowie's Top 20 hit album, "Tonight".
"Loving the Alien" was heard in Miami during WMC in the sets of such
artists as Pete Tong, Deep Dish and Danny Tenaglia. Soon to be released in
the UK, Scumfrog vs David Bowie has caught quite a buzz with music critics
overseas...
