With an impressive career that spans eleven years to date, Jody has achieved commerical sucess and critical acclaim as a producer, remixer and DJ. He has recently been in the studio busy collaborating with BT and remixing D:Fuse. Way Out West have remixed the likes of Sasha, Cafe Del Mar, XPress 2, The Orb, Paul Van Dyk & many more. Despite his hectic studio and road schedules of the past two years, Jody also found the time to release two Mix compilations for Kickin Records (Escension 1 & 2) and is currently compiling a mix album for Bliss Productions due for release in the States later this year. Scheduled for release in January of 2001, Way Out West’s forthcoming album is a masterwork of swirling atmospherics, big trancy beats and a musical sensibility previously unprecedented within the genre. Look out for the beautifully effecting melodies of the featured singers gliding in and out of Jody’s trademark soundscapes. As excitement for progressive house builds in America and continues to develop and mutate here in the UK, Jody is at the forefront. This Thursday receive a free copy of the new Way Out West album entitled "Itensify" on Nettwerk. The Low End Specialists (Hydrogen, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, React & Addictive) -- The Low End Specialists have rapidly been rising to the top of the charts and decks in clubland. Purveyors of the latest underground sound, DJ Mac C & Ali Geramian remain on the cutting edge of underground house music with support from the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler and John Digweed. They've just finished remixing Steve Lawler's "Andante" for Bedrock, 6400 Crew "Dub Me Sometin' Fresh" & Jah Scoop "Loch Dub" for Yoshitoshi as well as Vek's "Can't Get It" for Pipeline and Oscar G's "Space" for FutureGroove. These guys are constantly pushing the sound of the dancefloor from all angles and you'll need to experience them first-hand to see what all the buzz is about. The move from prodigies to peers of their heroes has been lightning fast, and the buzz surrounding them grows ever louder. Resistance is futile.
