| About Me: | Born into a family of musicians I showed early signs of rhythm, I was able to bang out the rhythmic pattern of any song emanating from the radio on my feeding tray, As a matter of fact the only reason I would cry was when the radio was turned off .I remember my dad would sit me down on his lap at some of his rehearsals when his current gig was the drummer, he'd even make me play the hi hats while he was playing the pedals "Daddy would drive me crazy with music but im glad he gave me lessons on all the instruments, it helps alot when i do my new Tracks" . Being that We own a recording studio in the heart of Brooklyn, where artist are predominantly Rappers, I would ultimately fall under that blanket. My Dad when he finally considered the Pro's & Con's of the Biz, wanted initially to have someone write for me and even though I told him I can do it myself he went ahead and Got A local hood star to write 2 songs for me his name was Bells.. aka J2 The R. The 2 songs, "4 The Block" & "Spitting it right" ) were great and every one was exited but when I bought out my Rap Book/ book of rhymes that I had been secretly working on, It brought more me to the table and of course the ghost writer wouldn't be needed any more, I would go on to write 8 songs in total in 3 weeks. On the way to work one day some one told my Dad that since I was so musical he should put me on the "America'sMost talented Kid" Tv show .. well we went of course to the audition but a blue eyed lil White Kid that sang country beat me out even though I rapped , played two songs on my steel drum(steel pan), even, danced did splits well u get the idea..My dad however hooked up with a lady named donna stevens at event who then recomended that Crise go to abrams artist ,speak to bonnie shumofsky 275 7th ave 26th floor ny ny 10001 And present me to her being that she found me to be so attractive she said to my Dad " o she will Definitly take him he so cuuuute" .. so with hopes in our hearts we prepared to deliver it in person with my headshots which cost wayyyy to much than they were suppose to & worked on two more songs partly written by his dad but Mostly By Me .. .the day was Febuary 7th My BIRTHDAY all dressed up . & happy we took the Cd ,Pictures up to the office & saw a thin black girl as the recp. We asked for the lady to whom we were refered & was refused a visit. nevertheless we left the package... We never heard a word.. a friend heard the songs However that I Had made & said “do 4 more songs & I’ll sell it in my beauty supply store accross the street” My Dad & I had nothing to lose so we put 10 units in the store & within that day they were sold off.. sounds good right .. Hang On.. just when they seemed to have found a way 2 distribute the guy went BUST , had to sell his store..when My dad spoke to the Guy , his response was "Yo God Sell the units ya self" My Dad @ 1st thought the idea to be far fetched ..We took the 8 song C.D to BURT PADEL .. whose assistant was Trevor Baptist who then said he I was too young for the game,& that there was no market for my type of rap (CLEAN) & that kids dont buy albums .. e.t.c I told them if bow wow and Romeo could do it, was the world really ready for me" We took the album to the streets songs included my child hood school friends also & some other hood stars The result was the toyBox.. my 1st cd it sold roughly 4000…., Ive been on two syndicated rap shows (bet,& bcat) & have performed @ ny's harlem week, twice & performed in & around the and 1 Players & for lil kim & countless other celebs., I missed my chance @ performing @ the NBA Allstar due to a conflict with booking people..
