I had made a visit to this bar from reading reviews (not extensively) on the night of Saturday June 19th 2010 and there was no convenient parking, the patio looked untidy, the service was HORRIBLE, it took the barmaid awhile to get a drink, and there were other factors that i shall not get into. So suffice it to say i WILL NOT nor will i EVER step foot near that bar again. Nor will I suggest this place to anyone who wants a safe environment. After some further research I found a story concerning a stabbing of FOUR people here from WKYC-TV http://www.wkyc.com/news/local/news_article.aspx? storyid=129054&catid=3 Its a shame because the bar received a decent review in the Cleveland Plain Dealer but then not such a forgiving comment concerning the stabbing story.

WOW... this is perfect. I have seen a lot of things go on in the bars of Garfield Hts and never anything a crazy as what happens at the Venture Inn.. This is the second big problem they have had the in two years with the first being someone hit with a draft glass and that person receiving over 100 stitches... wake up Garfield police not only is your city failing but you are a blind group that only sees what you want to see.

Unfortunately any of the reviews are usually 2-4 years old and don't seem to reflect the present state of affairs at this establishment. In closing I wish to reiterate that I will not be visiting here EVER again.
