Willie's Sports Bar & Grill Manhattan

We ate at Willie's for lunch today and my husband ordered a wrap with the sauce on the side. His wrap arrived with sauce on it, and when he sent it back, they said they would charge him extra to fix it because they couldn't reuse the lettuce!!! He said he wanted to know how much they would charge, but the manager was too busy to come out. The waitress returned with second wrap without the sauce and the first wrap in a box saying that we would be charged for BOTH wraps since they couldn't reuse the ingredients! When we pushed that this was unacceptable, she said she would just eat the cost of the wrap and have it for her lunch. I wondered if I could have called the police in order to not pay for the sandwich, but we paid for it and left. We will NEVER go back to this restuarant. In my opinion, this is horrible customor service, but the decision was clearly made by the managers. Beware if you don't want the item on the menu exactly as they prepare it! It will cost you if they make a mistake!

I lived in Denver 11 years, moved to Manhattan and stayed there 2.5 years, traveled all over the US and I can say this is the BEST Sports Bar I've ever been in! 37 big screen, HD TV's,.. walk in and want to see your team? If it;s on tv, DJ subscribes to every package you can buy abd he'll put it on so you can watch.

Cowboys fans in "gear" sit with Steelers fans in gear, and yes, even me, to watch games. There's friendly banter and great fun. A Boston Red Sox bar, DJ named his 1st son, "Boston", (maybe "Fenway" for the 2nd??) and a K-State bar for sure,.. but Jayhawk fans are welcome and they have fun too.

The food is great from burgers & sandwiches to soups and salads, a nice selection of bottled & tap beers as well. And,.. go downstairs to The Pub DJ opened a little over a year ago. A different menu, fine beers in an English style pub. All together an excellent place to visit while you're in Mahattan,.. yes people, I do like the place!!

I recently visited Manhattan, KS and I spent a couple of nights at Willie's. I found the owner, bartenders and waitresses to be extremely nice and helpful. I live in BHM, AL and the sports bars here could learn a thing or two from Willie's.

Great place to go and great food too! Best burger in town! A non-smoking bar and grill! We spend alot of evenings there gathering with friends after high school games!
