Half Moon Bar & Restaurant, New Orleans

The bartenders are awesome, Leslie is great, and Tammy, who is always there for happy hour is just wonderful, I've seen her wait on at least 10 people in a row before she actually has to ask them what they want, she just remembers everyone's drink order, I don't know how they do it. drinks are cheap , and the place has really cleaned up over the past couple of years.do yourself a favor, go in for happy hour on Friday to see Tammy and hang around awhile to see Leslie, this is the only day I know for sure they both work. one thing is for sure, as long as one of these ladies is behind the bar, you won't have to wait long, and the next time you come in, they will know what you're drinking.

I have been going to the Halfmoon for about 6 years. Pre-Katrina and post. The bar still has great clientele and the bartenders are awesome! They know me and what I drink and it doesn't take but two times going there before thy know your name and know your beverage of choice. The bartender, Leslie, on Friday and saturday nights is FAST she is the best there. Once she knows what you drink you NEVER wait. she is on it in a heartbeat. Great drink specials and a lot of space to play pool and darts. I always meet someone new and have numerous "friends" there. I was a stranger once.
