Small but nice
I went to My Place with 2 lady friends. It was a Thursday night. The place is small. It has a lil bit of parking. But enough for a Thursday night. The demographic was black and a few other non white folk. If there is no DJ they have a Juke box (so bring some money for music just in case)... Which depending on the age demographic, you might hear a mixture of "yesterday and today". There was a couch and tables, and room at the bar as well as places along the walls for seating. They have 1 pool table. From what I hear sometimes they bring a live band (beware of live Go-Go music, if you aren't from the area. Either you love it or you hate it and local bands love to play it). They have great drink specials, and EVERYONE is friendly (when I went) I had a great time. The $20 all you can drink all night special had me and the the rest of the patrons leanin. The bathroom needs work, but the friendly Charm of the place can compensate.But over all it was very fun
