What Andrea Davis wrote
The food is excellent!! I don't know what it was like in 2008 when the forum had a bad review, but in 2011 it is truly good. Prices are about the same as the 2008 post states, so that's another reason to visit!
Strong recommendation.

You MUST check out the SPORTS FORUM
I have only one word….DELICIOUS!!! Don’t expect “bar food” at this cozy restaurant. The menu is extensive – I enjoyed the coconut shrimp and it tasted great! My friend loved the steak sizzler special with john’s potatoes (a tasty cheesy potato side dish). We only planned on staying for dinner, but we were having such a great time we made our way to the bar area to enjoy a game on the large flat screen. A few of our friends joined us at the bar when we realized karaoke was starting at 9:00pm—we all had SO MUCH FUN!!!! This place really does have everything…food, drinks, darts, pool, touch screen, keno and plenty of TVs. I would definitely recommend the SPORTS FORUM for dinner, a sports game, partying with friends or a little late night karaoke session!!

The Sports Forum is the GREATEST!!!!!
I went to the Sports Forum for the first time the other night. I have to say this could be my new favorite place!!! The food was delicious. I asked for several substitutions due to numerous food allergies and the staff was more than accommodating. The ranch dressing on my salad was tasty and the seafood chowder was unlike anything I have ever tasted – so yummy!! My dinner was prepared quickly and exactly how I ordered. The dining room was smoke free with great old time pictures hanging on the walls. I would highly recommend the Sports Forum for dinner, drinks or even a party! I guarantee you will have an enjoyable experience.

The Sport Forum Restaurant in Kalamazoo MI is Terrible
I had a $25 certificate from restaurant.com to visit the sports forum 12-27-08. I brought a friend. We each had the ribs and shrimp plate and a pop. My friend asked to have onion rings substituted for his fries, which the waitress said OK to, and I had the "ranch fries". I had seafood soup, and he had coleslaw. The meal also came with one piece of white bread toast cut in half each.

The soup was ok, tasted like it was maybe home made? The onion rings were very greasy and huge, but what do you expect? The shrimp was frozen then deep fried and they were pretty good. The ribs were terrible. They tasted like they had been boiled for a few hours then put in the microwave to reheat, then a drizzle of barbecue sauce squirted on them. My ranch fries were inedible. They tasted like frozen fries that were deep fried then dipped in ranch flavored salt. Each fry was completely covered with salt! Horrible.

When it came time to pay up, they charged $6 for the onion rings even though they said there would be no extra charge. When I asked about it, I was told that they said she had to charge for them. She should have warned me and I would not have done it. They also added an 18% tip on bringing the total with tax to $51.00! I'm so glad I had the $25 gift certificate, but even so I never would have paid $25 even for that quality of food. I strongly recommend avoiding the Sports Forum in Kalamazoo Michigan even if you can buy a restaurant.com certificate for cheap.
