I been there and never will go back. Unless you don't value your life or property. You can count on the owner never calling the cops if your life is endangered and always being a drunk. Dark and unsanitary...amazing that this place stays open...but this place I understand has been closed a couple of times for obvious reasons...there are plenty of bars to go to without endangering your life. Don't expect the owner to be sober and make good business decisions when it gets closer to closing time.

The bar owner aka bartender has been verbally, physical abusive for years and does ENDANGER those that are around her. She cannot keep sober and for those who ENTER that bar....enter at your own risk. Bad Juju and Karma there...if anything happens hope that you don't need a cop. She doesn't cooperate with the cops...and needs time to get her story straight...since she is a drunk.

No question Mrs Meow is alittle crazzzy.
But I get the sane people all week .. I like crazy on the weekends

The rest of us will go to a place with a little life.......

I can personally attest to Lori the owner/bartender being crazy in there. She's always drinking herself into a stupor. A shot with every one.

She's always raising a ruckus, starting fights, and I even saw her seriously threaten to kill someone.

Now she's lost her liquor license for the second time. A slap on the wrist considering she had someone under 21 in her club who ended up getting killed outside at closing time.

The owner/bartender Lori is a real piece of work, and not in a good way! Saying she isn't right in the head would be an understatement. I can't tell you how many times I've seen her lash out at patrons for no apparent reason. If she thinks you're giving her the slightest bit of attitude she'll start shouting obscenities and racial slurs at you and then get physically violent. Avoid Balanca's at all costs!

I went to this bar to meet with some out of town friends with my husband it was our first time going and we will never go back the bartender assaulted my husband, was very verbally abusive and called the police on us when we told her she had no buisness treating patrons of the bar that way because she wasn't having such a goodnight for tips and when we wanted to wait she began throwing full bottles of liquor at us and our guest....she even threw a ladies purse in the trash and cursed her out for no reason...This lady is obviously crazy or on too much medication ...Overall it was not a good experience she mocked the military and when i advised her I was a member of the armed forces (Total Disrespect) We will not be returning and advise any others who are not regular patrons that it is not a safe environment
