P J Kilroy's Pub - Seeing how this bar stands smack in the middle of Boston University’s South Campus and in the shadow of Fenway Park, it’s not difficult to predict who goes – college guys and Sox fanatics. That isn’t to say that women don’t go, exactly. It’s just that you shouldn’t expect them in their Sunday best. Look for baseball caps, sweatshirts and easy-fit jeans on everyone.

There’s not much fancy about this bar, and that’s just how the patrons like it. The drinks are cheap, the pours are generous and the jukebox rocks, chockablock with buzzsaw bands like Sepultura and Tool. There’s pool, darts, TV and sports, sports, sports.
