Wet -
One of the biggest new splashes in Chicago nightlife came in 2004 with the opening of Wet, a marine-themed club cast in soothing shades of blue. Occupying a long, narrow space on Lake, Wet boasts a score of plasma screens displaying undersea life, as well as color-changing bars and a host of other stylish touches. On the top floor, guests are level with a circular DJ booth which appears to float above the dance floor. Music is primarily techno and house. Drinks aren't watered down and priced reflect that.
If the undersea theme strikes your fancy, the staff, clad in wetsuits, can extend the Wet experience to a variety of amenities including spa packages, chartered cruises, and even recreational scuba diving events at a manmade reef in Lake Michigan.
