I have been to this restaurant 50+ times in the last ten years. I dare say that 75% of the time I have left dissatisfied in some way or another. And the incredible thing is, it always seems to be something different! The service is nearly ALWAYS slow, that one is a given. The place seems to be staffed with a bunch of high school kids that could care less about actually working. Mom and Dad must MAKE them get a job. I say if you don't want to be there, move over and make room for someone who does. Most of the time the place is sloppily maintained (dirty fixtures, several light bulbs out, etc.). The "manager" seems to share the same outlook as his subordinates.
I stayed away for about nine months until a few days ago. After giving it another chance, it was the same thing as always. Poor service, cooks that appear to be on their first day, an indifferent manager, etc. This time I won't be back. Neither should you. I'd suggest giving your Dewitt bar/restaurant business to The Draft House up on Old 27.
