Little Temple is a place to take in music, make-out, and maybe dance, but not the best place to have a conversation. The hip-hop, soul, and house performed by the live MCs and DJs bumps through the bamboo-decked rooms as the clubbers lounge opium den-style on the couches, booths, or full-sized communal bed. Part Chinese, part Moroccan, the dark and classy furnishings make it hard to believe Little Temple used to be the hyper-dive Garage. They offer a huge menu of specialty martinis and the drink specials on Sundays make it worth paying the $5 cover charge. From the same owners of the Temple Room, this Mini Me version is a suitable heir to the Emperor’s throne of Eastern/urban clubbing.
