Cameo Bar at Viceroy Hotel - Trendy, pricey and shiny, this is where the West Side's wealthy 30-something hipsters hang out. The bar is quiet in the early evening, but by 10:30, it's a crush of men in well-cut suits and ladies sipping lemon drops. The outdoor dining area is lovely and convivial, and the food is outstanding. The only drawback is the service. You do get served -- you even get your bread replenished and water refilled if you're lucky. However, the sullen waiters communicate mostly in grunts and glares, no matter how much money you're spending. The poolside cabanas can be reserved for free for parties under 10.
