Crobar New York, Venue Description

Crobar - Yes, there's a long line. Yes, there's a cover. And yes, it's crowded. But you know what? It's worth it. Crobar is to mega-clubs what Yankee Stadium is to baseball parks. If you care about the biggest names in DJs (Paul van Dyk, Boris, Pete Tong, the list goes on and on and on), you simply can't NOT hit Crobar on a regular basis. With what feels like 80 bijillion square feet, Crobar has something for everyone: art galleries, hot-n'-heavy dance floors, intimate VIP lounges, underground music, techno, tribal, progressive, house--you want it you got it. Part of the national family (also in Chicago, Miami, and Buenos Aires), Crobar is one of the very few franchises that make you forget it's a franchise. A New York nightlife staple.

Had fun!
Had a blast when I was there. Being from Miami, I had this mis-conception that all New York clubs were filled with dour, self-absorbed trainspotters, more interested in either blowing the DJ or writing down each and every track he drops. crobar certainly wasn't that. While everyone knew Roger was on the decks, people overall were just out there to have fun, get drunk, and party. Courtesy of Jeff and some of the crew from Chaotica and crobar, I stumbled out of there at 4:30 trying to remember my hotel address.
