Avalon, New York (CLOSED)

I wanna go to avalon this friday. HOW DO I GET TICKETS OR MORE INFORMATION?

after all that planning and geting on the guest list, the f@#% place was closed. and the number they provide doesn't work. it was the worst experience ever & no one should go. it's no wonder they're closed... they have horrible service!

So I was soo excited to hear Danny Spin and he was the ONLY reason why I ended up staying the whole night and toughing it out!

The bouncers were rude, abnoxious, verbally abusive, physically out of line and from word of mouth were roughing up people taking their money and throwing them out of the club.... it almost happened to my freind who almost got thrown out of the club. It was ridiculous. They were looking for any and every excuse to get people out of there. My boyfreind went to take a seat by the speakers (other people were sitting there) and the bouncer told him "don't sit there why dont u just go home" yeah right! He obviously don't know us lovers of house music- we dont stop dancing! Anyways it was ridiculous and I cant wait to make a formal complaint with management. Who knows if they would even care- they obviously allow their security guards to behave like that. Just bad news all around!

Drinks were overpriced $8 for a bottle of water. The club is awsome but the staff was horrible. You had to watch your back all night.

We went there last night, new years eve and it was the worst decicion we could have made.
we had to wait 45min outside in the frigging cold so that the few people appeared to be a huge crowd. the staff was so unfriendly and aired themself if they guard the pope. after we payed 100$ we still had to pay for the coat checking wich we were even forced to. Open bar? hahah... first of all they were stingy with the free champagne and then it was finished at 10.30pm. my friend under 21 had to pay the same money and didn't even get soda. ps:didn't take credit cards that night.

we left at 10.45 and spent midnight in a deli. and believe me it was better...

Its f@#% unbelievable that they asked for that much money.. Seriously, even if I would get robbed on the street I would at least learn a lesson - but what did I get out of that???

I wen there when it was called the Limelight and it was the BEST nightclub to date that i have ever been in...Dancing on the dance floor and the bathrooms and the lights the Decorations..IT WAS FANOMINAL..I went a few weeks ago to THe Avalon i LOve the Club its BEautiful but the Crowd is different and More not of my taste...Although i might have gone on the wrong night..ALthough i still had a great time....

Would not suggest going there Fridays. I saw two groups of pretty girls from Europe there which both had one good looking girl in them. While I did have fun dancing with them the rest of the club was ugly & fat and my friends didn't like it, we left early. A Bouncer told my friend that Thursdays and Fridays are the good days for this club.

Avalon SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Me and a group of my friends went on OCt 27th. I got on a guestlist to get in for free the` held` everyone` back` until after` 12 `to` pay. `We` decided `to` get` a` table` so` we` could` get` in` faster `we` pay` 900` for` 4` bottles` of `ALAZE` for` 10` of` us `yes` 900` just` to `have` a` s#*! ` table.` Also` they` made` us` wait` 45` min` just` to` make `it `after` 12` and `made `us` pay` which` was` messed up. All` I `have` to say it` sucked `and` def `was `not `worth` what we `spent at all. THe `place looked like s#*! and smelled bad. An` I` had`other` friends` meeting `us `later `which` got` of` the` line` and `went` somewhere `else `cuz` it` was` 40 `to` get `wtf...`Anyhow` NOW` I `know` why` it` closed` b4 `and` still` has `very `bad` reviews.` The` staff` tries` to` ripp `you` off........

Avalon is sick ... when it went to hip hop it went to sh**... Its back to the old limelight and ready to rock!

The club from the outside looks pretty nice. Inside- it smelled like puke , same style of music in all 3 rooms,security had to take a couple of guys from the dance floor. . Club was too pricey and ghetto for my taste.

Avalon is s#*! . Me and my guys went and got charged $500 at the door, followed by $47 per drink. It wasn't even alcoholic. We then got molested on the toilet, beat up by a bouncer, and shot by a gangster. I'll def wait a couple weeks before going back.
