Paparazzi, Pittsburgh

Years ago this was a nice place, but that is over. This is the first time I have ever walked out of a restaurant. I think they had their run, and and have given up. The red-pepper focaccia appetizer was over 1/16" bread burned literally black solid through, with cold clumps of cheese like half golf balls, and the wedding soup was not wedding soup (maybe a weak Pasta Fagioli or something). Staff appeared lost, unable to take the orders and getting drinks wrong all over - perhaps on medication. I am not even sure there is an owner involved any longer. When our group asked to see the owner, it did not happen. We canceled the entries, paid for the drinks we consumed, and left. Buy a bag loaf of white bread at the Giant Eagle, and eat it on the sidewalk - you will be better off.
