Alario's, College Park

Alario's - Though they moved a mile up Route 1, they seem to have brought their pizza ovens with them. This College Park institution has been dishing out New York-style (or, as we like to call it “the only style”) pizza for what seems like ever. U of M graduates have been known to make day-long pilgrimages from wherever they line up to get a fix of Alario’s fresh dough and sweet sauce. You aren’t limited to pizza here, such red-checked-tablecloth-Italian staples like calzones, stromboli, baked ziti and lasagne shine here too. It’s entirely possible that half of the U of M would starve if this place closed.
