Lasick's College Inn, College Park (CLOSED)

Lasick's College Inn - Lasicks’s is one of those bars that would never be caught dead with a website. When it opened, in 1945, a “web” was something spun by a spider. Things haven’t changed significantly here since the Truman Administration. The jukebox may have gotten a makeover in 1990 and some newfangled “video games” might have popped up, but the main focus of Lasick’s is cheap drinks, simple food, and rock bottom prices. Though you’ll find Lasick’s in the student-drenched suburb of College Park, you won’t find many of the white baseball cap crowd here. If one can believe there are locals in the shadow of the University of Maryland, they gather here.
