Jade Terrace New York, Venue Description

This outdoor lounge that once resembled a pagoda can be found three floors above the dregs of China Club (also under construction). The team behind 1OAK and Butter have taken over the space, hoping to bring their luxe expertise and clientele a little closer to heaven. Like its predecessor, here’s hoping this new spot will offer a touch of Zen away from the frenzy of Times Square below.

Jade Terrace change for the worse

Me and atleast 10 of my friends have been going to China Club for the past 10 years, and NEVER have we been so disrespected as last week. It is preposterous and disgusting that China Club no longer allows PAYING guests to enter the Jade terrace without a PACK of CIGARETTES!!!! What are you promoting, Lung Cancer, Heart Disease, Breast Cancer?? We were rudely dismissed and threatened to be thrown out if we did not present a pack of cigarettes upon entering Jade Terrace. I am forwarding this information to the NYC Department of Health and various newspapers and news stations. This is extremely disappointing in this day and age, that you would be more concerned over financial gain than the health of human beings. Jade Terrace, which was the best part of the overrated club, is now open to chain smokers only!!
