Black and White - Why this bar is named Black and White is a mystery since the eponymous palette is completely absent. Regardless, Black and White fulfills the top two criteria for any bar: its drinks are cheap and the music selection is superb. Domestic brews are $4 and imported beers are $6. And Mr. Cheap Date, you can liquor up with couple of mixed drinks for under $10. Food ranges from typical bar fare like French fries, to soups and salads, to delectable desserts. The brothel-like red walls and dim lighting give this dive a rather cool atmosphere, while its choice selection of garage rock and classic R&B up the ante just a bit more.
