The Bongos Cuban Café in Miami, Fla. inaugurated in April of 2000. It raises two stories at the plaza level of The American Airlines Arena and overlooks the port of Miami, Biscayne Bay, and the downtown Miami skyline. Bongos can be spotted from miles away because of the giant pineapple, which rises from the roof. The 16,000 square foot restaurant by day, disco by night brings an unprecedented blend of authentic Cuban cuisine and romantic atmosphere of old Havana to Miami.
