El Chapultepec Denver

Having come originally from Chicago and lived in Europe for more than 10 years I have been to some of the best of the tender underbelly in clubs on the planet. I prefer the underbelly especially when it comes to Jazz and Blues clubs. I have to say El Chapultepec is the place I always come back to when I am in Colorado. If you are looking for brass and furn, lists with names, velvet ropes and red carpets..... Go somewhere else, this is a true Jazz bar that would be as comfortable to go to in London, Paris or Berlin let alone what used to be the best Jazz club of all times, Butchies Get Me High in buck town Chicago.

These places are getting harder to find these days, so if you have a minute to have a real experience go to The EL. Have a PBR in a can and enjoy the friendly people grab a Taco and say Hi to Tony.
