On that odd day they have an open mic for anything from folk music to standup comedy. Originally known as The Tableware, the club changed its name to Le Bistro Theater - The Riviera when Evan Vanderhoff took over ownership in 1983. The owner used the bar he enjoyed most when he was in his early-20s and abided in Buffalo as the inspiration for the layout of the bar he runs now. Le Bistro Theater - The Riviera has grown into one of the coolest bars around town for shows as well as to get a drink.
