Hong Kong at Faneuil Hall - It’s one of those heartwarming immigrant success stories. Man founds restaurant. Man serves cheesy drinks. Irony-besotted college students make him rich.
It happened in Cambridge when Harvard kids discovered the dragon bowls served at the Hong Kong Restaurant. They caught on so big (well, a bowl full of booze that up to 4 people can get buzzed off isn’t exactly a mood-killer), that Hong Kong was able to expand into this big, ritzy space at tourist central, Faneuil Hall.
You don’t come for the food, which is passable at best. You come to binge drink and dance like a sucker. You might be hipper than all the white baseball caps in the place, but use that to your advantage.
