Regattabar - This Harvard Square mainstay has been challenging and delighting Boston sophisticates with the best and brightest jazz, blues, folk and gospel artists since 1985. While its schedule is stellar, don’t expect the space to be like a concert hall. This truly is a club – with the all the advantages and drawbacks thereof. The performers are intimately close, but the space can feel cramped and the volume might get to be a bit much. There is a light bar menu, but anyone wanting a full meal should load up before going to see the show. Buy tickets early as this 225-seat club can sell out in the blink of an eye.
