Foster's Bar - If you find yourself at Foster’s Bar, chances are you are from out of town and have some government business to attend to the next day. For you see, Foster’s is attached to the Holiday Inn on Cambridge Street in the government district right near Scollay Square.
Given its rather dull provenance, one mustn’t expect much from Foster’s. But what it does, it does well. It doesn’t try to be trendy or fabulous. It does know who its crowd is and serves them exactly what they want – reasonably priced, well-mixed drinks in a conservative yet relaxing setting.
