Café Mosaic - Sitting rather counter-intuitively in the shadow of the Fleet Center amidst the sea of beer-soaked Rex Sox bars, this modest little coffee shop offers some peace and quiet in a hectic part of town. Also, it’s a great spot for baseball fans in AA.
You can settle down with a book or a newspaper, or with your favorite conversation partner and while the day away. We say “day” advisedly since the Mosaic closes in the early evening, reflecting its role as a breakfast/caffeine stop for local office workers. Every once in a while, they stay open a little later and even host some local musicians. But it’s not a regular thing.
